Construction
The building process can be divided into the pre- and post-weathertight stages (“getting a house to shell”)
Pre-build Stage
The pre-build stage begins with groundworkers establishing site access and clearing the area, setting aside any topsoil for later use. A site hut, plans, safety equipment, and a toilet are set up alongside. The Waterboard ensures water access, with a plumber installing a standpipe. The surveyor then marks the building’s layout, ensuring clear separation from construction activities. Essential materials, including bricks and blocks, are strategically placed, and a mixer station is established near the cement and sand, setting the stage for efficient construction.
Foundations
Before we start any work above ground, we must ensure that everything below ground is level, damp-proof, and ready to service your property. Our workers build the ground floor using blockwork and screed, and they complete and secure approval for the drainage and utility connections after the house is occupied.

Walls
At this point, the brickwork surrounding the wall plate must be finished. The roof rests on the wall plate, a piece of wood positioned inside the wall. This requires that all blockworks be on the bottom of the wall plate and that the brickwork be completed.
Roof
